1 – Spending a beautiful sunny day in Winchester celebrating my Dad’s birthday. Wisteria everywhere! I can’t wait for our’s to bloom in the garden.
2 – Finding these lovely, colourful bargains from Primark on Saturday. I’m a sucker for anything floral, so I stood no chance faced with this gorgeous vest for £4!
These trousers are super comfortable, and lovely and light for those warm summer days.
3 – I don’t know why, but this pear with a leaf still attached to it in my bag of pears this week made me happy. Is it just me, or is there something lovely about fruit and veg with leaves and vines still attached?
4 – We did some major DIY this Easter bank holiday – we ripped out all of the dark wood behind our TV, cut it diagonally, painted it white and grey, and created bannisters from it. Before we just had a wall of dark, varnished wood covering the staircase, so this really brightens the room and lets all of the light flood through.
(By the way, it was the news, not football on the TV ;-)! )
5 – A delicious lunch at Zizzi’s. I ate far too much food as usual, but it was so worth it!
This ^^ was a pistachio and salted caramel pudding with chocolate shavings and vanilla gelato. Mmm. Plus, aren’t those plates gorgeous? I really want some.
